Just one month after Chester Bennington’s death, Jay-Z paid tribute by performing their Collision Course mash-up “Numb/Encore” as his finale at JAY offered a tribute to his late collaborator before performing their Collision Course mash-up “Numb/Encore” as his finale at this year’s V Festival in England on Saturday.
“Can you guys light it up for Chester from Linkin Park one time tonight?” he asked. “Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight.”
Jay-Z is set to go on his “4:44 Tour” Oct. 27th. He’ll be performing in Boston at the TD Garden on November 25th.
