From the looks of it, we might not be getting a classic 4th of July this year. Get those rain clouds outta here!
If the rain stays away, you could still see firework displays across the state. Here are some firework plans that might just happen this Sunday:
-Fireworks at the Eastern Promenade in Portland. 9:15pm start time. A rain date is scheduled for 7/5.
-Fireworks at Palace Playland in Old Orchard Beach. 9:45pm start time. Weather permitting.
-Fireworks at Freeport High School in Freeport. 9pm start time. Weather permitting.
-Fireworks over the Kennebec River in Bath. 9pm start time. Weather permitting.
-Fireworks at the Naples Causeway in Naples. Starting at dusk. A rain date is scheduled for 7/5.
-Fireworks at Mill Park in Augusta. 9:15pm start time. Weather permitting.
-Fireworks over the Penobscot River in Bangor. 9:30pm start time. Weather permitting.
Fingers crossed we don’t get rained out. But hey–a sparkler can brighten up a soggy day!
