This September will mark 7 years since the passing of one of the most beloved artists of our generation, Mac Miller. 7 years, if you can believe it. Mac fans were fortunate to receive new music from their favorite artist in 2020, as Circles was released posthumously. Well, exactly 5 years to the date, those same fans will be getting another full album, and one that Mac apparently had in the vault for quite some time.
Balloonerism is set to release on January 17th, and according to his team and family this was a project that was made around the same time as Faces. The artwork, as you can see below, definitely checks out with that timeline. Other albums such as GO:OD AM took precedent over this one, but Mac still had a desire to release it. Well, in just over a week, that will finally come to fruition. You can check out the track list, including a major SZA feature, in the slides below.
