“Help us Kanye West, you’re our only hope!”
It looks like Kanye West is going to be working on creating developments of low-income housing units inspired by Star Wars architecture. Yeezy won’t be going to a galaxy far, far away to help humans, but rather is going to stick around the California area to create these developments.
According to Billboard, “the rapper, designer and entrepreneur is in the midst of creating housing units that resemble what Luke Skywalker lived in on Tatooine in 1977’s A New Hope.”
Forbes‘ writer Zack O’Malley Greenburg was able to see where the model structures of the Tatooine units are being designed and constructed during Kanye’s Forbes interview.
Greenburg writes, “inspired by Luke Skywalker’s childhood home, West has been working with a team to design prefabricated structures that sport the same austere aesthetic, with the goal of deploying them as low-income housing units.”
West has been blessed with fame and success, not to mention various headlines in the media due to his flamboyant behavior, but it looks like he hasn’t forgotten his humble roots. Kanye West the philanthropist!
