Move over Rihanna and Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez has joined the beauty line industry. Billboard reports that “according to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the actress and musician filed a trademark for ‘Selena Gomez’ on July 11 for a number of beauty products, including fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils.'”
WWD reports that back in 2010, the “Good For You” singer had her own clothing line called “Dream Out Loud,” which was launched at all Kmart stores across the country. However, the clothing line is no longer available at retailers.
Throughout her career Selena Gomez has had experience in the fashion and beauty industry due to her collaboration with Coach, Pantene, Puma and launching a fragrance in 2011 with Adrenalina Inc.
Gomez is keeping quite about the launch of her new beauty line as her and her team haven’t made any comments, yet, on the matter. I guess we will have to wait to see what Selena has in store for us.
