The 43rd season of “Saturday Night Live” began this weekend with host Ryan Gosling and musical guest JAY-Z. Sean Carter performed two songs, “Bam” and “4:44” of his recent 4:44 album.
Sporting a custom Colin Kaepernick “7” jersey, Jigga performed the reggae influenced “Bam” alongside Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley. For his 2nd performance, Jay-Z performed against a stripped down set. He provided an emotional rendition of his single “4:44” which touches on the downside of his relationship with Beyonce.
