Snoop Dogg will headline “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party” during the NFL Christmas Gameday featuring the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings matchup! The halftime performance is set to include special guests and will stream live exclusively on Netflix, with kickoff at 4:30pm and pregame coverage starting at 11am.
This event continues Netflix’s tradition of holiday halftime shows, following last year’s performance by Beyoncé during the inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday. While this year’s performance may feature surprise guests, Snoop’s past collaborations with Eminem, who also has ties to Detroit, raise speculation about a potential appearance. Fingers crossed!
The Christmas Day game is significant for the 8-6 Lions, who remain in playoff contention, whereas the 6-8 Vikings are positioned to play spoiler, having previously defeated the Lions earlier in the season. Netflix secured a three-year agreement to broadcast NFL games, and with last year’s Christmas performances reaching over 27 million viewers.
