Diamond albums and singles, spearheaded the “golden era” of Hip-Hop, countless sold out shows, a legacy that’ll last forever, and a genre defining voice and catalog of music that is on the verge of fetching in the neighborhood of $100 to $150 million.
The talent management company Primary Wave is looking to acquire not only the masters of The Notorious B.I.G.’s music, but also his publicity rights, including name, voice, image, and “other identifiable characteristics like key verses in lyrics.” It remains to be seen what the exact number on the deal will be, but does it ever make you wonder how much more Biggie could’ve built on his legacy if his life wasn’t cut short at the ripe age of just 24 years old.
