1. The FBI on Saturday released a compilation of enhanced surveillance videos of the suspect in the recent string of nine armed robberies in Greater Portland. The three-minute video highlights details captured by security cameras, including a logo on a jacket and the style of gloves the suspect wore. Police in six communities continue to investigate the armed robberies with the assistance of the FBI. (Press Herald)

President Trump spent his Easter morning in Palm Beach, FL on an anti-immigrant tirade, declaring Sunday that there would be no deal to legalize the status of undocumented immigrants known as “dreamers” and threatening to exit the North American Free Trade Agreement unless Mexico increases border security. 3. On April 1st a new campaign website was launched called King 4 Maine 2018. announcing the horror author’s run for governor. The link to his “campaign video” is the music video to Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.” The top of the page says, “Are you crazy?! Political office is one horror story that even Stephen King doesn’t want to do. Happy April Fool’s Day!” It is unclear if King was the mastermind behind this year’s prank. Despite leading for most of their national semifinal matchup against Michigan, the Loyola-Chicago men’s basketball team wound up losing to the Wolverines by a score of 69-57 on Saturday in San Antonio, thus ending one of the most memorable runs by an underdog in NCAA history. Michigan, a #3 seed, will face top-seeded Villanova for the national title tonight. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish captured the 2018 Women’s National Championship title on Sunday night, beating the Mississippi State Bulldogs 61-58. The Irish reached the championship game after eliminating the undefeated UConn Huskies in a 91-89 overtime victory on Friday night and ending the Huskies’ 111-game win streak. (ESPN)
