1. In the seventh Democratic debate, Elizabeth Warren did not back down on her accusation that Bernie Sanders once told her a woman could never be elected to the presidency. “Look at the men on this stage. 2. Kim Block is stepping down from her position at WGME. Kim suffered a concussion after slipping and falling on her icy driveway last January. For more than a year, Kim’s focus has been on getting better and returning to work, but her recovery has been long and difficult and that’s changing the course of her career. 3. Manger Alex Cora and the Boston Red Sox have agreed to part ways after only two seasons. Cora has been under fire for his role in sign-stealing scandals with Boston and Houston. Cora is still waiting to learn his fate with MLB for both investigations. (ESPN)
4. Dennis Coffey, a bartender at Duffy’s in OOB will appear on this Friday’s Jeopardy episode. The Tavern posted they will be a viewing party to cheer on their “brilliant bartender.” Back in October Jessica Garsed, a librarian from Augusta, had a three-night winning streak and won more than $53,000.
