1. Bernie Sanders solidified his frontrunner status ahead of Super Tuesday, with a win in the Nevada caucuses. Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren were second, third and fourth, but finished well behind Sanders. Sanders leads Democratic presidential candidates in fundraising from Maine ahead of the March 3 primary, raising nearly $400,000 more than any rival. (WGME)
2. Four weeks after Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna were killed in a helicopter crash, the public will have an opportunity to say goodbye. The memorial for Kobe, Gianna, six friends and the pilot is today at the Staples Center at 1 p.m. It is expected to last about three hours. (USA TODAY)
3. The United States Geological Survey confirms there was a 2.2 magnitude earthquake in Sabattus at 5:44 Sunday evening. People in Lewiston and Auburn reported feeling shaking. (WGME)

South Portland (18-3) will face defending state champion Oxford Hills at 7 p.m. next Saturday at CIA. Boys’ basketball: Edward Little shut down Deering in AA North final Saturday.
