1. Joseph Eaton, a man from Bowdoin, has been charged with murder after four people were found shot dead in a Bowdoin home and three more people were shot on Interstate 295 in Yarmouth shortly afterward. Eaton is the only suspect in both the shootings. The victims have not been identified. (PH)
2. Fox News and Dominion Voting Systems settled their defamation case for $787.5 million on the day the trial was set to begin. Dominion sued Fox, alleging the network pushed conspiracy theories about its voting machines after the 2020 election. Fox acknowledged that “certain claims about Dominion” were false. (ABC)
3. Breeze Airways is expanding its options for JetPort travelers by adding a nonstop route to New York’s Long Island, as well as BreezeThru service from Norfolk and Orlando. The airline also offers year-round nonstop flights to Charleston and Tampa, and seasonal summer service to Norfolk and Pittsburgh. (WMTW)
4. After 25 years, Netflix is shutting down its DVD-by-mail business. The final DVDs will be shipped out on Sept. 29, 2023, the company’s CEO said in a statement. (JN)
5. National Park Week is happening April 22 to April 30 this year. Entrance fees at Acadia and over 400 other National Parks will be waived on April 22, 2023, to kick off the celebration. (NPS)
