3. The Windham-Raymond school district has decided to keep the controversial book “Gender Queer: A Memoir” in the school library despite a parent’s challenge. The book has been criticized for its illustrations, while others argue that it provides important representation of LGBTQ teens. (WGME)
4. Maine is on track to make diapers tax-free for babies and adults after preliminary support from the House and Senate. A final vote is scheduled for next week. Currently, Maine is the only New England state that taxes diapers. (PH)
