1. Portland police are investigating an armed robbery at the China Taste restaurant on Washington Avenue. Police said the armed robbery happened around 8:40 p.m. Sunday. A man went into the restaurant, showed a gun and demanded money. Investigators said they do not know if this robbery is related to others across Cumberland County last week. Last week, stores in Portland, Westbrook, Cumberland and Falmouth all had armed robberies. This latest armed robbery marks the sixth in the past week. (WMTW)
2. Thousands of Mainers marched on Saturday for the “March for Our Lives,” an organized response to the mass murder of 17 people at a high school in Parkland, Florida. In Portland, protesters shut down Congress Street, demanding school safety. (News Center Maine)
3. On Sunday’s episode of 60 Minutes, Stormy Daniels revealed that she and Donald Trump had sex after she spanked him with a magazine featuring his face on the cover. Daniels went on to say that she wasn’t attracted to Trump, but had consensual unprotected sex with him anyway. She was 27 and Trump was 60 at the time of the tryst. Daniels also shared in her candid interview that the President said she reminded him of his daughter Ivanka, and that he and his wife Melania slept in separate bedrooms. (USA Today)
4. March Madness! The clock has yet to strike midnight for Cinderella in this year’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament, as 11th-seeded Loyola-Chicago advanced to the Final Four with a surprisingly decisive 78-62 win over Kansas State on Saturday. On Saturday in San Antonio, they’ll face third-seeded Michigan. Also playing each other for a spot in the April 2 title game will be top seeds Villanova and Kansas. (ESPN)
