1. Former President George H.W. Bush greeted admirers and locals with a wave out the window as he arrived to his summer home in Kennebunkport on Sunday. 2. Ten people were killed and 10 others were injured at a Texas high school early Friday morning when a teenage gunman opened fire. Texas Governor Greg Abbott called the deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School “one of the most heinous attacks we’ve seen in Texas schools.” Houston Texans star J.J. Watt will cover the costs of the funerals for the victims of Friday’s shooting at Santa Fe High School. According to USA Today, news of the athlete’s generosity broke shortly after he tweeted about the tragedy on Friday, writing, “Absolutely horrific.” After learning about Watt’s intentions, Ellen DeGeneres tweeted, “Thank you, @JJWatt for going above and beyond for the families of Santa Fe, Texas.
