It has been four years since Nicki Minaj released The Pinkprint.
Now that the summer is here, Nicki Minaj is finally ready to promote her highly anticipated album Queen. Here is all we know so far:
Nicki Minaj released two lead singles from her album titled “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz.”
“Chun-Li” has charted in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 and both songs have their respective music videos.
Many critics have indicated that Nicki’s singles sound reminiscent of her mixtapes before the international success of Pink Friday. This observation could indicate that she is going back to her roots for Queen.
Nicki announced on Instagram Live her album release date was pushed back to August 10th from the previous date of June 15th (probably because it’s the same day as the Hot Summer 2018 concert. Get your tickets now! bit.ly/HotSummer2018).
She will release the album cover on June 11th. She will be releasing her new documentary, Making a Queen, prior to the album. Lastly, her tour for Queen will begin at the end of September.
