At 37, Tom knows he only has a few seasons left before retirement. He’s thinking ahead and believes he could become a huge movie star,” a source told Star, via the Boston Herald. “He’s used to being a superstar. After winning the Super Bowl again, he’s thinking about new challenges outside of football.”
Acting has kind of become a side job recently for Brady, so it’s completely believable that he’d want to act full-time once he’s done playing in the NFL.
In December, Brady did a commercial where he played a telemarketer with a mullet and it turned out to be the most accurate portrayal of a telemarketer with a mullet that anyone’s ever done.
Brady doesn’t just do commercials wither, the Patriots quarterback will also be seen on the big screen in two movies that are both scheduled to come out this summer.
Brady will be playing himself in the ‘Entourage’ movie, which comes out on June 5. Brady will then reprise his role as Tom Brady when he again portrays himself in ‘Ted 2,’ which comes out on June 26.
Mark Wahlberg, who was involved in the making of both movies, was impressed with Brady, “He plays himself, but he does an amazing job,” Wahlberg said in November. “Funny, funny moment.”
Wahlberg isn’t exaggerating either. Brady’s clip is pretty funny.
